Manifestation with Integrity and Intent

One of the more difficult understandings I have faced in my consciousness studies has been the question involving manifestation in everyday life. We manifest daily in our relationships, career and personal projects. When our manifestations are in alignment with our desires whether it is having a great relationship, great job, abundance of money, then we do not explore manifestation at any great depth; we are getting what we want. It is when there is suffering that occurs in one or more of these areas that some people become introspective and may even adjust the principles they have lived their life by.

People begin to question why life is not going the way they think it should. Why is there conflict in their love relationship? Why don’t they have the job they want? They struggle to make changes in these areas such as be more attentive to their partners or to apply for different jobs but nothing happens. Happiness seems to be elusive. It is also during times of challenges that remaining positive and inspired is difficult. This is the time that faith in yourself is important and the more you take action out of a quiet serene place within yourself and not from fear deepens your faith in yourself.

During challenging times the element that is usually not explored is intention and it’s alignment to integrity that underlies the manifestation. When you are at the stage of spiritual development of exploring materialization, worthiness or self-love, and compassion of heart for oneself and others, then your intention at the point of manifestation is important. Is the intent rising up out of fear, such as the fear of lack of, or the loss of? Are you able to find a releasing of the fear to a place of neutrality or inner quiet before you take the steps in manifestation? It can be as simple as initiating a conversation with your partner and if that arises out of a place to manipulate your partner back into the relationship, then this is not in alignment with the truth of a spiritual seeker. Action taken from this intent will only produce increase suffering for both people.

The life of a spiritual seeker of serenity and happiness starts with intention that does not arise out of fear and need to control the outer situation. It is what Buddhist speak of when they discuss attachments to structures, things or people. Attachment only arises out of fear; non-attachment arises out of love. Can you imagine creating from a space within your own consciousness that is of compassion, even if it is only for the smallest moment in time or contained in the smallest act?
