Introduction to Heart Centered Meditation

Heart centered meditation is the easiest way to obtaining the stillness of presence that many of today’s spiritual teachers discuss as a goal on the spiritual path. Heart centered awareness begins to activate the frontal lobes of the brain and when working with this awareness during times of stress, then one can easily by-pass the fight-or-flight reactive behaviors.

Another aspect of heart centering is that it automatically begins to open you to the energies of compassion and unconditional love. These are not emotions although these energies can activate emotion. Compassion and unconditional love are energy vibrational patterns. Just by opening to the heart-center and receive these energies, one can begin to increase feelings of worth and self-love. For more of the heart center, refer to earlier blogs and to work with an introduction of the heart, check out www.melissalowe.com and the audio meditation Introduction to Heart Centering and Chakra Balancing.
